Image Management

Images can be used throughout your surveys, and we have made them easier to manage. As the number of images you are using grows, it can be harder to find the image you are looking for. We have now categorized images so that the most likely images you are after are at the top of the image list. "Unattached" images are shown first - these are most likely the images you have just uploaded using our new multiple image upload feature (see below). Next are all the images that are currently in your survey. This is useful if you want to re-use an image that you used earlier in the survey.

Managing of images that are used in your survey can now be performed directly from under the Design tab. It is no longer necessary to get out of your survey to delete or update an image.

Got a lot of images you need to add for your survey? No problem - now you can upload them in bulk. Use this capability with the new categorization of images when selecting them to quickly upload and use images.

Hierarchical Questions

A number of improvements have been made to hierachical questions, including improvements in the reliability of uploading very large lists of hierarchy items, speed improvements when using hierarchy questions in flow control, and a new ability to choose how hierarchy items are displayed in the hierarchy list.

Choice Randomization

The randomization of choices within a question now feature the ability to "block" choices so that they move together when the choices are randomized. This is similar to the randomization blocking capabilities that exist for survey pages.

Drag & Drop Card Sort

So many questions in surveys end up being grids - for each of the grid rows, choose the best statement that matches it. Now, MR Ultimate users can use something quite a bit "sexier" - a "card sort". To use, the question is set up like a standard single selection grid, except each row is given an image. Respondents can drag these images onto the appropriate statement.

Slider-based Constant Sum Question

There is now a better way to choose proportional amounts for various numbers in a constant sum (eg. what percentage of your time is spent doing the following... or show how you spend your 37 hours at work each week...). The new slider-based question in the MR Ultimate edition makes it easy to choose components that make up the whole.

Users of the Premium and Ultimate editions of Web Survey Creator now have a whole new level of control and functionality available to them using our new JavaScript scripting capabilities. Load and save values into question, create custom validations, hide questions through scripting and much much more.
