Mandatory CAPTCHA confirmation from a respondent can be used to restrict survey progression by distinguishing if the respondent is human or a machine. This is typically seen as a way to thwart automated completion of surveys.
CAPTCHA can easily be added to a survey page using the Terms and Conditions question type.
- 1. The Terms and Conditions question type can be found in the Other category when adding a new question to a survey page.
- 2. The Terms and Conditions question can be converted into a CAPTCHA in the Conditions Format Options section.
- 3. Click on the condition elements dropdown and select the Show a CAPTCHA device only option. The Terms and Conditions question will then display as a clickable CAPTCHA box.
