How do I Display a Matrix Question as a Matrix Card Stack?

When using the Single Range, Radio Buttons (Choose Only 1) question type, you have access to Swipe Card Stack Display Option.
Reference Guide
The Two-Choice Matrix Display dropdown option is available when using the Single Range, Radio Buttons (choose Only 1) Question type. You can choose from the two types of display options:
  • Use Standard Matrix Display Options
  • Display Question using a Swipe Card Stack
Choosing the Display Question using a Swipe Card Stack option will display the Matrix question type as an interactive Swipe Card Stack. A number of social apps use the "Swipe" metaphor for selecting items and this is another gamification option for your surveys.

You can only use a Swipe Card Stack when you have EXACTLY two (2) choices in your Matrix Selection Choices. These two choices represent swiping the Card Stack left or right.

You can use the following steps to create your own Swipe Card Stack question:
  1. From the Survey Designer, create a Single Range, Radio Buttons (Choose Only 1) Matrix question.

  2. Ensure that you only have two Selection Choices then click on the Two-Choice Matrix Display Option dropdown. Choose the option Display Question using a Swipe Card Stack.

  3. Question Rows can be displayed as text only or can be combined with images to further customise the experience for your respondents. You can use the Edit Row Images button to attach an existing image or upload a new image for the Question Rows.

It is important to note that images being used in Question Rows may need to be modified with image editing software to correctly fit the circular Card Stack image frame. For example, adjusting the image width and height, or cropping the image to create better alignment and focus.
